GameLink Pro V3.0 – Six Games. Total Control.
GameLink Pro V3.0 combines six different target-presentation modes in one programmable controller. Designed and manufactured in the UK by FieldTech Systems, it can control layouts of up to 8 paired traps and lets you choose exactly which traps participate in each game.
From a configurable automated flush to unpredictable bursts, following pairs and progressive rounds, GameLink Pro allows the same trap layout to produce very different presentations without repeatedly reprogramming receivers.
SIX GAME MODES
1. FLUSH
Set the total number of clays, delay between flurries and number of targets in each flurry.
SPEED and FLURRY can be fixed or randomised. SCATTER controls the spacing between targets within a flurry from 80–200ms and can also be randomised for each flurry.
Choose any combination of enabled traps and pause or resume an active flush using START.
2. CHAOS
Creates unpredictable bursts using up to 8 enabled traps.
Five LEVEL settings control how strongly larger bursts are introduced, while MAX sets the maximum number of targets permitted in a burst. Every gap within a burst receives fresh random spacing between 80–200ms, avoiding a fixed rhythm.
RELOAD controls the delay before the next burst.
3. MIXED
Combines singles, following pairs and simultaneous pairs across five levels:
L1 – 75% singles / 25% following pairs L2 – 50% singles / 50% following pairs L3 – 100% following pairs L4 – 50% following / 50% simultaneous pairs L5 – 100% simultaneous pairs
Following pairs use two different enabled traps with a random 1–4 second interval between targets. Simultaneous pairs use two different traps with short radio-command spacing.
RELOAD determines the interval before the next presentation.
4. RAMP UP
A progressive game where the presentations develop as the round advances.
Depending on the selected LEVEL, the round can progress through singles, following pairs, simultaneous pairs and occasional triple-target presentations. At the higher levels, singles progressively disappear as the round develops.
RELOAD also reduces throughout the round, reaching approximately half its starting value by the end, subject to the minimum limit.
Instead of maintaining the same difficulty throughout, RAMP UP deliberately builds the presentation as the round progresses.
5. FOLLOW
Presents a target from one enabled trap followed by a second target from a different trap.
SPEED is adjustable from 1–4 seconds, or Random Speed can select a fresh interval for each pair.
With larger layouts, GameLink's selection logic also attempts to avoid immediately reusing traps from the previous pair wherever possible.
RELOAD controls the break before the next pair.
6. SHUFFLE
Random presentation without random bias.
GameLink creates a list containing every enabled trap, shuffles that list and then works through it, normally two traps at a time.
Every enabled trap is therefore used exactly once before any trap is used again. Once the complete list has been exhausted, GameLink automatically reshuffles it and creates a completely new order.
With an odd number of traps, the final unused trap is presented as a single before the next shuffle begins.
SPEED is adjustable from 0.5–3.0 seconds in 0.5-second increments.
UP TO 8 TRAP CHANNELS
GameLink Pro supports up to 8 paired traps.
Individual traps can be enabled or disabled directly from the controller, allowing each game to use exactly the traps required for that particular layout without having to unpair receivers.
COMPETITION LOCK
Random doesn't have to mean unrepeatable.
Competition Lock allows GameLink's random sequence to be reproduced, allowing the same predetermined randomised presentation to be repeated when consistency between rounds is required.
ADJUSTABLE RELOAD
Modes using RELOAD allow the recovery period between presentations to be controlled independently from the timing within a pair, burst or sequence.
RELOAD is adjustable from 1–30 seconds.
INTELLIGENT RANDOMISATION
Randomisation works differently according to the selected game rather than applying one generic random function to everything.
Depending on the mode, GameLink can vary:
• Trap selection • Presentation type • Burst size • Speed • Flurry size • Target spacing • Following-pair timing • Complete trap order
This is why CHAOS, MIXED, FOLLOW and SHUFFLE can produce very different presentations despite all making use of randomisation.
COMPACT 8×2 LCD
GameLink Pro uses an 8-character × 2-line LCD.
The display automatically presents the information relevant to the selected game, including parameters such as clay count, speed, flurry size and level.
MAGNETIC RECEIVER PROGRAMMING
GameLink receivers use FieldTech's magnetic programming system, allowing receivers to be paired with the required controller channel without exposed programming controls on the receiver enclosure.
AUDIBLE EVENT CUE
Where applicable, GameLink provides an audible cue for the first target of a presentation, clearly identifying the beginning of a new event.
FLUSH retains its continuous automated operation without an event-start cue.
SETTINGS STORED IN MEMORY
Important configuration information is retained in non-volatile memory, including programmed receiver information and relevant game settings.
Switch the controller off and your configuration is retained for the next time it is used.
FACTORY RESET
A dedicated factory-reset function provides a controlled method of clearing programmed receiver information and returning GameLink to its default configuration when a complete reconfiguration is required.
