FIELDTECH COMPAK & SPORTRAP SEQUENCER
COMPAK • SPORTRAP • CUSTOM LAYOUTS • TOTAL CONTROL
Meet the new FieldTech Compak & SporTrap Sequencer — our most advanced 6-channel competition controller yet.
Designed to make running a layout quicker, easier and more flexible, the Sequencer takes care of presentations, competitors, stands and scoring while giving the operator simple controls when things don't quite go to plan.
Choose your scheme. Set your squad. Press PULL.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ 40 COMPAK SCHEMES + DEDICATED SPORTRAP
Choose from 40 built-in Compak schemes with support for squads of up to six competitors.
There's also a dedicated SporTrap mode for up to five competitors. The controller follows the physical stands as competitors rotate and automatically manages Singles, On Report pairs and Simultaneous pairs throughout the round.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ SCHEME 41 — CREATE YOUR OWN LAYOUT
Fancy being the course setter?
Custom Scheme 41 lets you build your own 25-target Compak layout directly from the controller.
Choose from:
✓ Singles ✓ On Report pairs ✓ Simultaneous pairs
Then simply use the physical A–F buttons to select your traps.
Creating A followed by C? The display shows A>C.
Want D and E together? You'll see D+E.
Work through the five stands, save the layout and you're ready to go. Your custom scheme is stored in memory for next time.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ CLEAR 20 × 4 DISPLAY
The large LCD gives the operator the information that actually matters during a round:
✓ Current target ✓ Physical stand ✓ Gun / shooter ✓ Presentation type ✓ Active trap or traps ✓ Current sequence position
On Report pairs display both traps with an arrow showing the active target, while simultaneous pairs clearly show both targets together.
No more wondering: "Where are we?"
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ NEW — 10-PRESENTATION NO BIRD HISTORY
One of our favourite new features!
The Sequencer remembers the previous 10 presentation states, including the sequence position, physical stand, shooter AND scores.
Press NO BIRD and it steps back one presentation.
Press it again and it goes back another.
You can rewind through up to 10 previous presentations.
Better still, the scoring rewinds with it. If a MISS was recorded against a presentation that's subsequently declared NO BIRD, the previous score is automatically restored.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ WENT BACK TOO FAR? JUST PRESS ADVANCE
ADVANCE moves the sequence forward WITHOUT releasing a target.
So if NO BIRD gets pressed one time too many, getting back to the correct position is easy.
NO BIRD = BACK ADVANCE = FORWARD
Simple!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ UPDATED SCORING SYSTEM
Scoring is now integrated directly with the competition sequence.
Press MISS and the score is deducted from the appropriate competitor. Scores remain associated with each competitor as they progress around the layout.
If a presentation is subsequently invalidated, NO BIRD restores the appropriate previous score along with the presentation.
At the end of the round, competitor scores can be viewed directly on the controller.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ MANUAL PULL OR FIELDTECH MICROPHONES
Prefer traditional operation?
Leave Microphone Mode OFF and use the large PULL button.
Want hands-free operation?
Enable Microphone Mode for use with compatible FieldTech stand microphones. The Sequencer communicates with the microphone associated with the relevant physical stand.
Your Microphone Mode setting is remembered after power-off too.
When Microphone Mode is OFF, no microphone commands are transmitted.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ FASTER NO BIRD & ADVANCE
We've also redesigned what happens behind the scenes.
NO BIRD and ADVANCE now communicate only with the relevant active microphone rather than unnecessarily communicating with every stand.
The result is faster, cleaner operation with considerably less unnecessary communication.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ SMARTER MENU
The rotary MENU control works in both directions, making settings quick and easy to navigate.
Enter the menu during an active competition and you can return WITHOUT losing the round, sequence position or scores.
Want to abandon the round instead? Simply choose CANCEL ROUND.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
★ BUILT FOR REAL-WORLD COMPETITIONS
Rounds don't always go perfectly.
A NO BIRD gets called. Someone presses MISS at the wrong moment. The operator goes backwards one presentation too many. Or you need to check a setting halfway through a round.
The Sequencer is designed to deal with those situations without making you start again.
